Emily Wardle Personal History

Dearest Elder Isaac, Love you! We got our dishwasher repaired this week. We thought we were going to have to get a new one, but it turns out it was under warranty and we got it fixed for free! Dad and I hiked up the Bells Canyon Lower Falls again this week.  I really enjoy that hike! I got to play the organ at the temple this week!  I really enjoy this calling! Emmy had her choir concert on Thursday.  I LOVE listening to her sing! It was weird to have the concert at Wasatch, but they should be in their new auditorium by her concert next year. Lily and I did an 8 mile run on Friday.  She is so fun to run with.  I love our conversations! This time we talked about her date last week (she friend zoned him) and Dad and my dating story among other things.  I had a bit of an asthma attack on the way down, but the conversation was awesome! Dearest Elder Isaac, Love you so much! Sister Isa sent me pictures of your from your temple trip and from Zone Conference.  She is so sweet! Lily and I did an endowment session on Tuesday I helped serve a lunch for the new missionaries in the Utah East Mission on Tuesday. I got a meet a sweet Sister from Taiwan who was just reassigned to our mission from the Temple Square mission and knew Sister Pan's daughter! One of my dearest high school friends was visiting from Wisconsin, and we got to go to lunch together.  I love her so much!  It's an amazing thing to have a friend you haven't seen in 30 years but is still your friend  as soon as you're back together.  And even sweeter when they are still your friend in the gospel! Lily and I ran 6 miles down the canyon together!  She is so delightful to talk to! Lily started as a temple worker on Wednesday in the Draper Temple.  Emmy had water polo State this week.  They played an AWESOME game against Kear...

Dearest Isaac, I woke up to a video from you, which made my day!  Thank you! Lily made it to the dentist this week AND got to do a language evaluation to work at the MTC!  Hopefully she'll get hired there! Lily and I did a paint night with YungSong Kim on Monday!!  So fun!  We need to get Joseph to go with us next time, so they can chat in Korean. I did confirmations on Tuesday with Lily and Emmy even though Emmy had TWO AP tests that day! (Chem and Gov) Emmy had a third AP test Wednesday morning (Lit).  She's pretty awesome! I did baptisms on Wednesday after playing the organ with Lily, Anna Dalley, and ... Jaydon!  Hana was supposed to come too, but she got super sick that day. Jaydon is trying to go to the temple every week and is reading the Book of Mormon for the first time.  He's considering a mission (!!!!) - maybe at the end of the year.  Super happy about all of that! Dearest Isaac, It's different to only have 1 missionary to write to... Lily came home on Wednesday!  Super fun to have her home! We went to a water polo game for Emmy to keep Lily awake that night and then ate at Spaghetti Factory! Lily and I got to go to the temple with Sister Ingram, a former companion of Lily's.  Then we got to go to lunch together.  Ingram is delightful!  I really like her We left on Friday to go to Zion and hiked Angel's Landing that night in 2 hours 10 minutes!  We were booking it! and caught the second to last shuttle down canyon... On Saturday we did Mystery Canyon.  Isaac, have you done that one? Jon Moffitt came with us, and he was super great to have along. My favorite thing was listening to Emmy, Joseph and Lily chat and laugh with each other! It is an enormous blessing to have children who are such good friends and are such lovely humans to hang out with!! I have been feeling extraordinarily blessed! We got home at about midnig...
