Dearest Isaac and Lily, School may be starting to get into a rhythm... maybe. I think I'm less stressed... There was no school Monday, so I had a bunch of online stuff to do instead of going to campus. This Bio lab was way easier to do than last week's BYU's devotional was Elder Matt Holland. He reminded me of his father, and I LOVED his talk! I was re-energized in my Book of Mormon study I took my first Anatomy lab quiz. I did fine (8/10), but I knew both of the right answers for my mistakes and just did it wrong. Sigh. Next time I'll do better.  I did initiatories and then went back to do baptisms with Emmy on Wednesday.  I only had to stay up past 11 doing homework once.  I had a giant Bio project to do that felt like a glorified 6th grade science fair project, but I got it done after about 8 hours on Saturday It was Grandma's 79th birthday on Thursday, so I did brunch with her and Rachel and Amanda. How I love her!! Dad and I walked over to Porcupine for dinner ...

Dearest Lily and Isaac, Wow, I love you guys! It's been a crazy week... I my first Bio Lab on Monday. I know I only have 1 class on Mondays and that it's only from 11-2, but it felt like I was at school the whole day!  I may start taking Trax just so I can study while I commute on Mondays. Went to my first Chem Lab on Tuesday. I felt really out of place - like no one would want to be in a group with old me. That was a mistake. They wouldn't have minded at all, but becuase I had such a bad attitude, I ended up working by myself and feeling stupid. I got there eventually, but everything would have gone better if I'd just been my friendly self and joined a group. Sigh.  Lesson learned Both Dad and I spent all weekend checking MyMap to see if I could get into a day section of my anatomy class, but we had no luck.  Sigh.  That's another reason I was feeling so down when I went to my chem lab on Tuesday. BUT! Tuesday evening I had my first Anatomy lab, and that was the be...

Dearest Isaac and Lily, This has been a wild week for me... I started school... so much to say about that but no idea how to.  I went to my Chem class at the BYU Salt Lake Center and really enjoyed it, BUT I am now in an online section I was at the main BYU campus all day Thursday and went to 2 anatomy classes and a biology class I wasn't registered for but wanted to switch into. I got into said Biology class late that afternoon.  I'm still hoping to switch my anatomy classes to a day class instead of an evening one, but at least my schedule works now and I don't have any classes that overlap each other. Whew! Got to do lunch with Joseph on campus on Thursday! I spent ALL afternoon and evening on Friday doing chemistry for my online class - trying to catch up since I didn't get into it till Friday afternoon.  I went to the temple and did an Endowment on Tuesday despite a raging headache which felt like a miracle.  Did baptisms with Emmy on Wednesday. How I love...

Dearest Isaac and Lily, I am so grateful for the goodness of my children! We went to Glenwood Springs, CO for New Year's.  They have the biggest hot tub I've ever seen! It's heated by a hot spring, and there are several little pools with varying temperatures We ate INCREDIBLE BBQ On New Year's day we then drove to Moab and did a short hike to Mesa Arch - ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL! We did U-turn canyon, and it was awesome!  I love traveling with my kids!  They are a delight! We made it back in time for Joseph to attend a wedding reception for a Jerusalem friend Joseph Emmy and I went to see a movie with the Nelsons (Knives Out: Wake up Dead Man). It was super fun! It was fun to be in a theater and listen to everyone laughing and reacting. Dad taught Sunday School today and introduced the Old Testament. It was a great lesson!  I'm so excited to have him teach Gospel Doctrine! I am finishing up Ether in the Chinese Book of Mormon.  It's been such a wond...
