Dearest Lily and Isaac, I hope your weeks have been as lovely as mine! Emmy didn't have school on Monday or Tuesday for President's day, and I didn't have school on Monday either!  It was nice to have a Monday where I didn't need to go campus. I went to a ton of free labs for anatomy on Tuesday to prep for my big anatomy lab mid-term Emmy was sick, so she missed most of school on Wednesday and Thursday, and I took her to the doctor on Wednesday.  She has a virus.  Emmy and I went to a show at Hale on Wednesday. "Peter Pan Goes Wrong". It was HYSTERICAL!  Loved it! Thursday morning I took my big anatomy mid-term.  For this test you get taken into one of the cadaver labs.  There are 10 stations with 5 pinned or tagged specimens at each station that you have to identify correctly - with correct spelling. It was stressful, but I was super grateful for the guy who said the prayer before we began.  He thanked Heavenly Father for creating such amazing b...

Dearest Isaac and Lily, This was a great week! President Oaks spoke at the BYU devotional.  I got there at 9:15 and was astonished beyond measure at how crowded it already was.  People were EVERYWHERE and the doors hadn't opened yet.  I was able to get a seat, though, and Joseph and some Jerusalem friends sat with me. Emmy had an appointment with Dr. Beals.  She's doing fine.  He said to just work through the pain - it's to be expected.  I also got to learn which tendon he moved and how the surgery worked.  It was absolutely fascinating! I got to play the organ at the temple and did some initiatories School has been really busy but I'm also feeling more confident and less stressed Emmy and Hana and I did baptisms on Saturday.  I haven't seen Hana in a while, so that was awesome!  We had a long chat about missionary service and what it would look like.  I don't know if she will serve a mission, but I figured that she can't even know...

Dearest Lily and Isaac, Great week! I got 97% on my anatomy test! AND found out I got 109/110 on my Bio Test! I only got 85% on my chem test, but overall I'm feeling pretty good about school... I got to do an Endowment session on Wednesday morning.  Dad had left early to go to Vegas, and Emmy had to leave early as well, so I made it an earlier session than I was planning and met Sarah Woodbury there!  (Water Polo friend, for those who don't know her) Emmy and I went to a "How to Train Your Dragon" concert on Friday.  It was AWESOME!  We watched the movie on a big screen in the music building concert hall while the philharmonic symphony played the soundtrack.  They even played the Paramount opening theme and the Dreamworks intro.  Everyone there knew all the right times to laugh and cheer and it was so much fun!! We went to Brick Oven. We forgot to take a photo, though, so Emmy edited one for me.  Haha!  I love it! Emmy and I surprised Joseph by st...

Dearest Isaac and Lily, January just flew by! I can hardly believe it's February already! I had by first midterm this week.  It was for my Biology class, and I was stressed about it.  It was in the testing center, and I wasn't sure how things worked there after 30 years... Thankfully Joseph could bring me up to speed, so i didn't look like an idiot. Haha.  I think it went well, but I don't have my score yet. I have 2 midterms this coming week - both my anatomy lecture and chemistry.  I still have a grundle of studying to do, but at least the stress how how the testing center works is behind me... Dad and I had a lovely dinner on Friday.  He was at work meetings all day most days this week, so it was super nice to have some time with him Emmy and I had a mommy-daughter day yesterday.  She made pasta from scratch for lunch.  She came with me to the church and cleaned the floor of the gym while I practiced the organ.  We opened up the accordion wall ...
