Dearest Isaac and Lily, This week has flown by and also seemed really long... Not sure how that is a thing, but it is. Emmy turned 17 on Monday!! Dad and I made her shrimp alfredo (with homemade noodles) I had an organ lesson on Monday Dad and I got to take Sister Linford out to lunch on Wednesday.  She's darling! I'm sad she's going to be gone all summer doing summer sales. Emmy, Grandma and I went to see HADESTOWN on Wednesday.  Even though it wasn't the original cast and the Eccles stage didn't have the same features, I still loved loved loved it! Neither Emmy nor Grandma had seen it before. Thursday was my last anatomy lab.  Sadness.  That's my favorite class, and I'm sad that there aren't any more regular classes.  I will have free labs next week to prepare for my midterm on Thursday, but it won't be the same. I had a Chemistry midterm on Friday. I only got an 80%, and I'm sad about it. Dad and I went bike riding and motorcycle riding on Sat...

Dearest Lily and Isaac, Love you guys! Emmy and I went to a play at Hale - Hunchback of Notre Dame. It was Awesome! I got to do Initiatories at the Taylorsville temple on Wednesday. I had a nasty Biology paper due on Thursday.  I got it written, but I may have to completely change it.  The final draft isn't due for a couple more weeks, so I have time but I based it on a scientific survey article and I think I have to change it to a primary research article... Sigh.  I'm a little stressed about that. Dad and I cleaned a TON of things out of the basement.  I got rid of 15 orange boxes of books... I got to go watch Emmy play polo at a tournament down in Springville on Saturday.  I LOVE to watch her play. Dad and I went to Sister Linford's welcome home this morning.  She was an awesome missionary!  You can just tell. I'm so grateful for my testimony of the Savior! And so grateful to know I am a child of God.  I hope I never take those things for grant...

Dearest Isaac and Lily, You are such a blessing in my life. I've felt so grateful for you this week! I had my organ lesson this week. I haven't had one since December because my teacher's husband had some health issues and then passed away. It was good to see my teacher and express love for her.. This class was at our church, which was fun! It was nice to have Jan's advice on how to use this organ.  Emmy left for choir tour on Wednesday. It's weird to have her gone. But she's been having a ball! Dad and I left on Thursday after my classes to go to the Grand Canyon. I took the bus to school that morning. There was a fire drill during my free anatomy lab... Had to evacuate the LSB.  Sigh.  But it meant I had more lunch time with Joseph. Yay! He drove pretty much all night to get us there in time to try for a cabin at Phantom Ranch - no dice. But it meant we could hike down in the cool of the morning.  When we got to Phantom Ranch we found there was a cancellation!...

Dearest Lily and Isaac, It has been a heavier week than usual. I had a dentist appointment Monday morning.  No cavities! I took my anatomy mid-term on Tuesday - got a 97%!! Missed Emmy's choir concert. Great sadness.  But Dad recorded her songs and set them to me, so I listened to then on my way to my car after class that night.  Made me cry it was so beautiful! and I love Emmy so much! Went to 2 Chem test reviews to prep for my mid-term Took the mid-term and only got 80%.  Another great sadness. Learned all about the heart and the endocrine glands in anatomy lab (I love that class so much!) Sang in the Stake Choir for Stake Conference this weekend.  I really enjoy working with our Stake Choir Director.   After Adult session of Stake Conference I had a very unexpected experience. I was chatting with Nancy Ferderber on our way to our cars when the car next to where Nancy was walking pulled out, bonked her and knocked her down.  The driver of the ca...

Dearest Isaac and Lily, This was an exhausting week. But a good week.  We had the Missionaries over for dinner on Sunday.  Emmy and I got to see YoYo Ma perform at BYU on Tuesday. It was awesome! Beyond awesome! In order to not have 2 cars at BYU that day I rode the train/bus to campus, which was a new thing for me. But kind of fun I got to play the organ at the temple on Wednesday. I love playing in the temple.  I had another Biology midterm on Friday. I think I did ok.  I have Anatomy AND Chemistry mid-terms next week.  So there's a lot of studying I need to do. Dad and I went road biking for the first time this year. It was SO FUN! I love biking with Dad.  We had dinner with Rod and Tamia on Saturday. They just got back from Spain.  Emmy had 3 or 4 events at our house this week - 2 with YW and 1 with her choir people and I think there was another one... It's so nice to have Emmy back!! I love having her friends over! I love you to the moon and...
