Emily Wardle Personal History

 Dearest Isaac and Lily, I feel like this has been a pretty quiet week... I had another group organ lesson.  I love these lessons!  And I'm enjoying the organ so much! I played the organ at the temple on Thursday.  So fun to actually be able to play the pedals at least some of the time. Hana and Emmy and I went to the temple on Thursday.  It's been a couple weeks since we could go together, so that was super nice! Dad and I did some more work on waxing the fifth wheel - we'll get it finished some day.  ha ha I watched a live stream of an organ recital done by a BYU professor.  It was mindblowing!  He made the organ sound like a full orchestra!  And I realized, for the first time, that the organ at BYU is in the middle of the wall - like halfway up the wall - surrounded by the pipes!!  It was so cool! I want to play on that organ someday... Emmy and I went to see Pablo Sains Villegas play a guitar concert.  Yes, Lily, that's the same...

Dearest Isaac and Lily, It's been such a fun week! We took the Orth's down to Arches and took them on a night hike to Delicate Arch and then did a run through U-turn canyon with them... in the rain.  We had fun despite the weather and getting the rope stuck once. I chatted with Dave Barnes, one of his Nurse Practitioners and one of his PA's in several phone calls this week.  I'm still not sure if going back to school and pursuing a medical degree of some sort is what the Lord wants me to do, but I have really enjoyed getting more information! Interestingly enough, the nurse advised me to become a PA, and the PA advised me to become a nurse. Dad, Emmy and I left on Wednesday afternoon to go on a Fall Break trip to Capitol Reef.  We took the fifth wheel down with us and camped in a little RV park.   Dearest Lily and Isaac, I love you guys!! - I had another organ lesson, which was awesome!  I was super stressed about playing in Sacrament meeting, and my teacher helped me simplify the intro and totally lowered my stress! - Emmy and I did baptisms on Wednesday. Hana couldn't come because she went camping with Maggie for Fall Break.  - I played the organ at the temple. First time that I played the pedals at the temple!  I'm slowly getting better! - Dad and I have been frantically working on the fifth wheel. We got one side waxed on Saturday.  - Went on a bike ride with Dad and went to breakfast at Over the Counter with Emmy.  - Emmy had polo State this week. She took third!  And played awesome!  Her defense was awesome!! - I hiked up to Red Pine with Steph and Nalene. The Fall colors are spectacular!!  Dearest Isaac and Lily, What a week! Uncle Matt was sealed to Sammy on Tuesday at the Bountiful Temple.  It was awesome!  Rachel and I went to an endowment session before the sealing and as we walked down the stairs to change back into street clothes, Matt and Sammy were waiting together to be taken up to the sealing area!  It felt miraculous! It was POURING rain when Rachel and I went to put our bags in our car, but it had let up a little by the time the sealing was over.  All of Matt's pictures were in the rain, though.  That didn't seem to bother him.  I've never seen him so happy!! I turned 49 on Wednesday!  Emmy cleaned the house and put up birthday decorations for me!  Isaac called me that morning!  Lily called me later as well!  Best day ever!  49 is great! I did my birthday lunch with Grandma and Joseph down in Provo.  I love being with them! I had birthday dinner at the Dodo with Dad and Emmy.  Also delightf...
