Dearest Isaac and Lily,
It was so strange to have the house all to myself this week.
- Joseph was here for Conference on Sunday, so we drove down to Provo for class together on Monday. That was fun!
- I had my last Biology lab and quiz on Monday - and I'm ok with that one ending
- I had my last Anatomy lecture on Thursday. I'm more sad about that class ending.
- This week was also my last Chemistry lab - Happiness
- I met with a Pre-PA advisor this week. The number of work and shadowing and volunteer hours I need are extremely daunting to me, but he helped me a lot with what classes I should take.
- I had an organ class this week, and I played the organ at the temple as well. I love playing at the temple! I got to do initiatories before my organ session and got to do a Korean name!
- Dad and Emmy got home on Thursday. It's SOOOO nice to have them home. I was pretty lonely by the end of the week.
- We left on Friday to run Westwater with the Gatrell's. Epic trip! We actually flipped the boat on Skull rapid - the water was SO low that it was a super sketchy rapid to run. Dad Emmy and I all swam, but our worst injury was a cut on Dad's finger. We didn't lose any gear and our boat got flipped back over super fast. The Gatrell's were great with the rescue skills! It felt pretty miraculous to me!
- Church was great today! We had fast Sunday today because of Conference. Emmy bore her testimony and did an exceptional job! I also got to play the piano in Primary. I LOVE that calling!
I'm so grateful for my Savior. He makes all the difference! I'm trying to figure out the best path forward for me and this medical stuff, and I'm so grateful I know I have a Heavenly Father I can talk to and seek guidance from. I'm so grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ that helps me change and be a better person as I struggle to be as kind and thoughtful as I want to be. This gospel is so amazing! And brings me so much joy!
Love you to the moon and back!
Mom
