Dearest Lily and Isaac,
I love you guys! It's so sweet to me to have both of you serving right now.
- Dad and I spent several lunch hours and evenings taming our yard and cutting down the jungle in the backyard. Haha
- Amanda Nelson invited me to go to a yoga class she put together for her Waterford Ragnar team. I'm not doing Ragnar with her, but I LOVED the yoga class! Amy McKinley was there which was fun. I haven't seen her in a long time.
- In addition to taming the backyard, I also cleaned out the front flower beds. It looks pretty awesome!
- I LOVED my organ lesson on Thursday. Each lesson is so helpful at motivating me to improve while also helping me see my progress.
- On Saturday Greg came over and helped us cut down the Aspen trees in the front yard. Harvey came over to help as well. It was a huge endeavor, but with all that help, it went sooo fast!
- We borrowed Eric's dump trailer and Dad took 2 full loads of yard waste to the dump.
I played the organ in church today. I have spent hours and hours practicing, and felt like I'd figured out how to play the songs pretty well, but I totally messed up the Sacrament hymn. Sadness. That was the one song I really wanted to play right, so everyone could focus fully on the Savior and the Sacrament, so I felt terrible and so embarrassed. So embarrassed. But as I sat during the passing of the Sacrament and thought of the Savior I was taught again that the Atonement is real and can make up for my foibles and goofs that seem inevitable despite my best efforts. The Savior is real. And the Atonement really works.
I love you to the moon and back!!
