 Dearest Isaac and Lily,

It's been another crazy week with some travel for me...

  • I went to an early morning Endowment session in Taylorsville Tuesday morning because Steph was  having surgery that day.  (Her surgery went super well)
  • I finished my Basic Life Saving class on Tuesday.  I was super nervous but it turned out to be super easy.  I am now certified in CPR etc.
  • I took Hana to do baptisms in the Bountiful Temple on Wednesday.  It was a slower temple but I couldn't get into the Taylorsville temple this week
  • I finished my ecclesiastical endorsement interviews and am now able to register for Evening/Salt Lake Center classes starting Winter Semester.  Eeeek!  Scary! and Exciting! I'm still waiting to hear if they'll allow me to take day classes.  I sure hope so since almost all of the classes I need to take are offered at the EXACT SAME DAY AND TIME in the evenings...
  • I played the organ at the Draper Temple on Thursday - I'm slowly getting better!  I didn't need to use the bass coupler at all this time!
  • I went to St. George with Rachel, Amanda and Grandma on Friday.  We went to the St. George Temple Saturday morning (stayed there chatting and touring for nearly 4 hours!), played games, and then went to the Gentri Christmas concert at Tuacahn that evening.  It rained on us for the first half of the concert, but we were totally prepared and it was AWESOME!
This week I've been taught more about the Savior.  While in St. George we chatted in the Celestial room about the gospel and the insights we had that day for about 1 1/2 hours! I always marvel that no matter how many times I've been to the temple, there is always more to learn! For example, this time I learned (relearned?) that if I want to be pure and holy, I need to access the Atonement of Christ through being obedient.  It's just another way he is the way, the truth, and the life.  There are so many symbols of Christ everywhere in my life, and I want to do a better job of seeing Him and focusing on Him always.

Love you to the moon and back!
